The excellence of the èצӰÏñ French doctoral program was recently confirmed by the National Research Council (NRC) rankings, which placed èצӰÏñ French at the top of its list: only three other programs can compete for the #1 rank in the country (according to the "S" methodology). For research activity, èצӰÏñ's French department has the highest ranking in the country.  Our program also shone in a number of other areas: our faculty produces the highest average number of publications, and has won the highest percentage of outside grants. For these and other reasons, the French program received the highest ranking in the country for research activity (falling somewhere between 1st-4th place).
