The DLCL Screenwriting Research Group and The Centre for Latin American Studies are proud to host two events with celebrated director and screenwriter ÌýPaula Markovitch.

Writing Cinema without Restraint Ìý- Ìý a practical workshop and roundtable discussion on the art of writing for cinema. ÌýThis will be a unique opportunity to attend a screenwriting laboratory with the "Guru" of Latin American Screenwriting.

Paula Markovitch was born in Argentina and lives and works in Mexico. Her film El Premio won the Silver Bear at the 2012 Berlin Film Festival. She is the coordinator of the screenwriting laboratory at the Mexican Cinematographic Institute (IMCINE).
