Workshop: Creating Successful Collaborations in the Humanities and Arts

The Division of Literatures,
Cultures, and Languages, the
èצӰÏñ Humanities Center, and the
èצӰÏñ Institute for Creativity
and the
Arts will be hosting a hands-on workshop on creating
successful
collaborations in the humanities and arts. The
workshop will take place on
Friday, November 14, 9
a.m. — noon at the Barnes Conference
Room,
Arrillaga Alumni Center. Refreshments and
lunch will be provided.
This workshop is especially for faculty,
students, and staff who are
involved (or want to become involved)
in collaborative projects in the
humanities and arts. It will be
led by Kate Powers, an instructor in
collaborative process at èצӰÏñ and other universities, along
with several
èצӰÏñ faculty members. Topics will include (but
will not be limited
to):
• allocating time and resources
• communicating clearly and efficiently
• delegating and authority issues
