We are thrilled to announce a reading discussion led by MarĂ­a Gloria Robalino (Comparative Literature) and Tyler Bonnen (Psychology). MarĂ­a Gloria will comment on the series “Siluetas”, by the multidisciplinary Cuban artist Ana Mendieta, while Tyler will address the neurobiology of memory and its relations to animal behavior. In preparation for the discussion, please read the following pieces attached to this message: Tim Ingold’s “Transformations of the Line: Traces, Threads and Surfaces”, and Howard Eichenbaum’s “Memory Systems”.
