Film screening is part of the Film, Nation, Latinidad (ILAC 117N) taught by Prof. Yvonne Yarbro-Bejarano.

The course examines the work of three directors in the context of national identity, memory, and the interplay of gendeer, race, and sexuality in rewriting these narratives. Pedro Almodovar (Spain), Maria Navaro (Mexico), and Lourdes Portillo (Latin@ US).
