Nigel Smith, Co-Director of the Center for the Study of Books and Media at Princeton University and Fellow at the èצӰÏñ Humanities Center, joins Renaissances for a screening of Fanny Lye Deliver'd (2019, rated R). The film, which earned 95% on Rotten Tomatoes, stars Charles Dance, Maxine Peake, and Freddie Fox, and follows an upright Puritan family as a pair of Ranters infiltrate and upend their lives. Professor Smith will introduce the film and lead a discussion and Q&A at the end of the evening.
