Thank you to those who joined us for a wonderful first session of “Lunch Poems” (h/t Frank O’Hara). Our second meeting will take place on THURSDAY 2/20 at 12.15pm in Margaret Jacks Hall, Room 202.
 
We will try out something new, focusing on a single longer piece suggested by one of our participants: Canto 4 of the Purgatorio, from Dante’s Divine Comedy. The original Italian text and two English translations are available here:
 
As usual, you don’t need to be a regular at the Poetics Workshop to attend these informal sessions. Come if you like, for as long as you like. All you need to bring is your lunch and a love of poetry.
