We cordially invite you to an engaging conversation with the esteemed author, economist and philosopher Felwine Sarr (Duke), as he delves into a thought-provoking discussion with Fatoumata Seck (èצӰÏñ). Sarr will talk about his experience co-publishing, with Philippe Rey, Mohamed Mbougar Sarr’s La plus secrète mémoire des hommes (2021) which won the Prix Goncourt, France’s most prestigious literary prize. He will discuss the aftermath of his Report on the Restitution of African Cultural Heritage (2018), commissioned by President Emmanuel Macron, and co-authored with art-historian Bénédicte de Savoy. Sarr will also share his musings on African futures as explored in his books Afrotopia (2016), and Traces: discours aux nations africaines (2021).
