Baricco will give a talk titled “The Game: Digital Culture & Contemporary Humanities”, focused on the social, cultural, and institutional role of the Humanities in the aftermaths of the digital revolution. A discussion will follow. No readings are required for this open event. For those of you who would like to read a few excerpts in preparation for this conversation, we recommend having a look at the The Game’s chapters “Stelle comete: quel che resta della verità”, “Altri oltremondo: quel che resta dell’arte”, and “Contemporary Humanities: quel che resta da fare”.
