"You a cordially invited to George and Martha's for an evening of fun and games". Mike Nichols' black-comedy drama based on Edward Albee's award-winning play set on the quiet campus of a New England College is only the second film ever to have been nominated for every eligible category at the Academy Awards. Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor play George and Martha, Associate History Professor and his hard-drinking wife, whose relationship over a series of post-dinner drinks begins in hell and unravels from there.
