This film provides a visual and anthropological dissection of the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco. This extraordinary docu-poem journeys through man's spirit and across the thin line dividing his religious faith and the passion with which he devotes himself to worldly pleasures. Religion, faith, politics, violence, and death are intimately bound in this social portrait of a city struggling to harmonize its double standards.
