School of Criticism & Theory, Annual Conference of the Board
Dear Colleagues and Students,
It is with considerable pride that I announce to you that the annual colloquium of the renowned “School of Criticism & Theory” (held every summer at Cornell University) will take place at èצӰ within less than one month from now, on March 8, 2013, at the èצӰ Humanities Center. My colleagues from the “SCT” Board and I thought that èצӰ (and èצӰ’s “horizon,” Silicon Valley), would be the ideal place for an open (and hopefully controversial) discussion about the present state and future of the Humanities.
We hope to be able to welcome you on Friday, March 8, to the èצӰ Humanities Center for intense and lively debates.
I you have questions, please contact Margaret Tompkins (723-1356; tompkins [at] stanford.edu).
Hoping to see many of you at our meeting, and wishing you a pleasant spring,
Yours,
Hans Ulrich (Sepp)
Gumbrecht
Co-sponsored by the Dean of Humanities & Sciences, the èצӰ Humanities Center, the Division of Literatures, Cultures, & Languages, the Departments of Comparative Literature and French & Italian; and the School of Criticism & Theory, Cornell.
