The next talk in the German Studies Department colloquium series will take place on Monday, May 16 at 5:15 pm. Prof. Erik Butler (Emory University) will give a lecture on the writings of Der Nister, entitled "Der Nister and the Art of Concealment." Prof. Butler is the editor and translator of a forthcoming volume of short texts by this underappreciated modernist writer. Some selections from Prof. Butler's translations will be circulated before the talk. The lecture will take place in Pigott Hall (Building 260), Room 216.
