About the screening:

The Load (2018)

During NATO’s bombing of Serbia in 1999, Vlada, a truck driver, is hired to undertake a treacherous path across his war-torn country and deliver mysterious cargo. On a journey where friend and foe prove indistinguishable, Vlada comes to realize the horrifying ramifications of his mission.

Q&A with filmmaker Ognjen Glavonić will follow the screening.

Ognjen Glavonić is a Serbian director, screenwriter, and producer. His short films were selected for more than fifty international film festivals. His documentary, Zivan Makes a Punk Festival (2014), premiered at Cinéma du Réel. Glavonic's documentary Depth Two (2016), won a number of best film awards after premiering at the Berlinale Forum. The Load, his first feature-length fiction film, premiered at the Directors’ Fortnight of the Cannes Film Festival in 2018.  Glavonić is a founder of Non-Aligned Films and Pančevo Film Festival.
